Opening in a deserted hill in the San Fernando Valley, Extreme Associate's THE PORNOGRAPHER is an interesting documentary or "fuckumentary" as the video's credits describe it because it gives fans of adult cinema a peak into the world of adult videos in a way that Paul Thomas Anderson's' mainstream sleeper hit BOOGIE NIGHTS could never have achieved. This is because BOOGIE NIGHTS was a mainstream film distributed by New Line Cinema and not because BOOGIE NIGHTS in any way is an inferior film. The two are totally different films that have as much in common as Apples and Oranges.
Using a combination of Cinema Verite' style videography and gonzo filmmaking, we are thrown right into the staging of a location shoot where Tom Byron playing himself shares an awesome sex scene with Lizzy Borden. Rob Black is on hand playing a foul-mouthed Director who is hilarious to watch as he educates the fans watching the video a two-hour crash course on pornographic directing. The scene culminates in a nice facial from multiple angles. Every scene in fact culminates in a facial that just keeps getting better and better.
Suddenly we are taken back in time to Lizzy Borden's interview at Extreme Associate's headquarters where she demonstrates her fine cock sucking ability on a very lucky Luciano. After Luciano dumps his load in her mouth we see her later cleaning up giving Luciano some dietary advice, "I think he needs some more vegetables and fruit."
