Review by John Douglas ![]() The best application of technology for the purposes of sexual gratification since the creation of the Internet itself. |
It is a historic day here at the Talking Blue offices, for we have just received our first sex toy for the purposes of reviewing and after verifying that it was not a booby-trap sent to us by a disgruntled subject of one of our reviews or articles, we began the argument over who would be the first to try out our new gift.
An additional two inches of height and fifty pounds of heft goes a long way in settling such arguments, as I properly persuaded the other willing reviewer that I would be the one best suited for the job. I should first establish that I have never used any sort of sexual toy or device in the past as everything that I have ever seen on the market seemed to be a flimsy replacement for masturbation, rather than a tool to add to the experience of self-gratification. It isn't something you just jump into, or at least was the case with me. I had to very specifically plan out there wheres and whens of my test run. I began by watching one of the videos I was set to review and fate shone down upon me, as the video I picked out turned out to be one of the better videos I had seen in a while. The mood set for me, I carefully went about following all the directions and suggestions for use that comes with the FleshLight. Although very wordy and cautionary, much thought has went been put into describing the steps to maximum enjoyment on the part of the manufacturers. In hindsight, I appreciate the accompanying manuals that I will not need to deal with next time. Rather than go into the messy details of my "lovemaking" session with the FleshLight, I think my space here is better served by describing the device and it's intended usage. |

"The FleshLight" is an intelligently thought-out new sex toy from the manufacturers at Interactive Life Forms, Inc. Committed to providing high-quality products that "last well beyond their first-time use", Interactive Life Forms has crafted this product for customers who are looking to buy more than a boxcover, a trend that has overtaken the adult toy industry of late with the numerous toys moulded from the private parts of famous adult film stars and items endorsed by the same performers as products they themselves use.
Made up of a heavy plastic canister in the shape of a large flashlight, which in turn serves as the container for a removable gel orifice (the product is available in the form of a vagina, a mouth, or a non-descript slot) called Real Feel Super Skin™.
In addition to its different orifice types, the gel insert is also available in a number of different scents including lavender, vanilla, and spice, although we could not figure out just what the point in having a scented masturbatory device was. ILF plans on releasing a version of the device later this year known as the FleshLight GID2000, a glow in the dark, translucent version of the gel that features a lime scent. The gel is rather soft and fairly flesh-like, much more stimulating than most of the plastics and rubber used in the manufacturing of most sex toys. Once warmed by soaking in warm tap water, the user applies a liberal amount of lubricant (the FleshLight comes with two sample tubes of astroglide) to the inner canal of the appliance and to his penis. It takes a bit of getting used-to to be able to handle the rather large FleshLight casing, but just like real sex, once you get a rhythm going, it becomes quite natural. As far as a personal testimonial to my experiences with "The FleshLight", I would have to give it a rave review, easily a ten, a thumbs up, and a Best Bet. I look forward to many more enjoyable "reviews" of my new toy (luckily for me, The FleshLight is not meant to be shared or used by someone else). "The FleshLight" is available through retail stores dealing in sex toys, mail order outlets, or via the company's website at www.fleshlight.com (while at the site, be sure to check out the above pictured Inti-mates, a curious-looking device from the makers of The FleshLight). |
