Valentine: Porn Acting is Still ActingPorn starlet and documentary subject Stacy Valentine, while in Cannes to promote her biographical "The Girl Next Door" movie, was questioned by a member of the international press about "acting" in adult movies versus mainstream non-pornographic movies.Stacy responded, "I challenge any mainstream actor or actress to take off their clothes and have sex in front of people and tell me that's not acting.'' While there, Valentine was given an award naming her the Best American Actress at the Hot D'Or, a porno film festival not unlike the Cannes event, wherein the focus is on porn movies on the international level.
