Cable Access Star Takes on Comedy Central

Sandy Kane, star of the California cable access show "The Sand Kane Blew Show", has taken issue with cable television's Comedy Central and their daily news program. "The Daily Show".  Kane, an ex-stripper-turned-comedian has hit the channel with a $3 million dollar lawsuit over the fact that the satirical news program used clips of her program on it's show and in a montage title sequence for a recurrning segment on the show called "Public Excess".

In the segment, a reporter for "The Daily Show" would show clips from the most bizarre cable access shows from across the country.

"Hey, I don't mind if you make fun of me, but you better pay me for it," Kane said. "That's my image, that's my trademark. They used me to promote their show, but won't pay. It's a total rip-off."
