Zatoichi DVD Description: "A special double feature collection including two films starring “Beat” Takeshi Kitano. Directed, written and starring “Beat” Takeshi Kitano The Blind Swordsman: Zatichi has won numerous awards, including the 2003 Venice Film Festival and the 2004 Awards of the Japanese Academy. While traveling through the Japanese countryside, Zatoichi, a blind samurai, happens upon a village that has been overrun by a ruthless gang. Determined to help the villagers, Zatoichi seeks out the gang leader and embarks on a journey of revenge.

"Then in Sonatine, international star “Beat” Takeshi Kitano plays a Tokyo hit-man who is sent to Okinawa to help settle a dispute between two other gangs. When he arrives and his men are ambushed, he realizes he was set up. Narrowly escaping the city, he takes his remaining men to a beach house to hide out. Determined not to go out without a fight, they prepare for the final showdown."
